The Control of Infection Unit of the Department of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, is organizing a Training Course on Surveillance, Prevention and Control of Hospital Acquired Infections. The course which will run for six (6) weeks will be held from 8th August to 16th September, 2016.

The programme will provide basic training in the Control of Hospital Infection and this course is very essential for Health Care Workers to improve patient care in line with best global practices. Lectures, Practical Sessions and a Complete Project Work on an aspect of Infection Control.

(a) Nursing Personnel working in the clinical areas
(b) Medical Officers
(c) Medical Laboratory Scientists
(d) Environmental Health Officers

How To Apply For The University College Hospital Ibadan Training Course

Forms for the University College Hospital training course can be obtained with a non-refundable fee of One thousand naira (N1,000.00) from the Infection Control Unit, Department of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology, University College Hospital, Ibadan.

Completed application forms which must be accompanied by candidate’s curriculum vitae should be forwarded to the Head, Department of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology, University College Hospital, Ibadan. Please confirm acceptance from the same venue. Courses registration fee is Eighty thousand Naira Only (N80,00).

Note: Participant must come along with their Ward Coat on resumption.
