UNIUYO Matriculates 10,926 Students For 2016/2017 Session
University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, UNIUYO has matriculated a total of 10,926 Students into Full-time and Part-time programmes for 2016/2017 academic session.
The Vice-chancellor of the University Prof. Enefiok Essien, advised the matriculating students to live within the dictates of the school’s rules and regulations, warning that management would not hesitate to wield the big stick against non conformists.
University of Uyo Matriculates 10,926 Students
For full-Time Undergraduate Programmes, the University of Uyo matriculated 7,043 students, 253 students for Postgraduate Diploma programme, 689 Masters students and 196 Ph.D candidates.
For Part-Time Programmes, University of Uyo matriculated 1,222 Undergraduates, Certificate, 95 into Certificate programme, 888 Diploma programmes, Sandwich – 150, Postgraduate Diploma – 270, Masters-110 and Ph.D – 10 for 2016/2017 academic session.
The Vice Chancellor,Professor Enefiok Essien in his address remarked that twenty-four students have been selected on University Honours Roll with (CGPA) 4.5 and above.In attendance were: DVC Administration, DVC Academic, Registrar, University Librarian, and other Management Staff.
