UNILORIN FM Begins Live Internet Streaming

The Radio Station of University of Ilorin, UNILORIN FM has commenced Live Internet Streaming in it’s quest of internationalisation of the University.

In line with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, to continue to explore the internationalisation drive of the University and position it properly on the Information Communication Technology (ICT) highway, the Unilorin 89.3 FM Radio Station has begun 24-hour internet radio streaming.

With the commencement of the online streaming, listeners from all over the world can now tune in to the better by far radio station.

The streaming, which started at 12.00 noon last Saturday (October 12, 2013), would enable the University to constantly update listeners across the globe with happenings in and around the University.

Checks by Unilorin Bulletin revealed that activities of the  29th Convocation Ceremonies would be streamed live to allow members of the general public from across the world catch up on the programmes.

Listeners will also have the opportunity to participate in some of the live interactive programmes on the radio station. Prospective listeners can log on to fm.unilorin.edu.ng to receive live transmission 24 hours everyday of the week or download the applications from the Blackberry or android application stores.
