The University of Lagos – UNILAG Direct Entry Screening for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open.

This screening is mandatory for candidates seeking admission into any course through the Direct Entry pathway. If you selected UNILAG as your first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB Direct Entry application, now is the time to complete the process.

Eligibility Criteria for UNILAG Direct Entry Screening

To be eligible for the UNILAG Direct Entry Screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. First Choice Institution: UNILAG must be your first choice in the Direct Entry application.
2. Academic Requirements:
   • In a single sitting, obtain at least five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
3. Age Limit:
   • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2024.

Important Notes for Applicants

• Age Restriction: If you are not 16 years old by the specified date, you are not eligible to apply.
• Document Consistency: Ensure your details, such as name, date of birth, and state of origin, are consistent across all documents.
• Mandatory Participation: Please refrain from participating in screening to ensure you are eligible for admission consideration.
• Reapplication Policy:
  • Former students with withdrawn admissions due to academic performance may reapply but only for a different course.
  • Expelled students are not eligible for reapplication.

How to Apply for UNILAG Direct Entry Screening

Follow these steps to apply for the screening successfully:

1. Visit the UNILAG Admissions Portal:
   • Go to the UNILAG Admissions Page.
   • Select 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) Application.
2. Log In:
   • Use your Direct Entry Application number as your username.
   • Enter your surname in lowercase as the password.
3. Generate Payment Advice:
   • Create and print the payment advice for the screening fee of ₦2,000.
4. Make Payment:
   • Pay at any commercial bank or online using the generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference).
5. Complete the Application Form:
   • Return to the portal and fill out the screening form.
   • Upload all required results and documents, such as:
     • First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, or Cambridge A’ Level certificates.
6. Submit and Print:
   • Verify all entered details and submit the form.
   • Print the Direct Entry e-registration slip.
7. Submit Documents to the Admission Office:
   • Submit the printed slip and credentials to Room 174, Senate House, UNILAG, between Monday, October 7, and Friday, November 8, 2024.
