Admission Requirements For UITH Post Basic Nursing 2016/2017
The admission requirements for UITH national Diploma Full-time studies in Post basic Nursing for the 2016/2017;
1. Must possess West African school Certificate/General certificate of Education/SSCE/NECO with passes at Credit level in at least five (5) papers obtained at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and Science Subjects.
2. Be a registered Nurse duly registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
3. As a registered Nurse, must have at least 1 year post registration clinical/working experience in the relevant area of specialty, and must show evidence of sponsorship by an institution or voluntary agencies.

How To Apply
To apply for the UITH Post Basic Nursing admission for the 2016/2017 academic session;
1. Payment of five thousand Naira only (N5000) or fifty US Dollars ($50.00) for foreign applicants, should be payable through Remita with University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin.
2. Application forms can be obtained from the school of Post Basic Nursing Studies, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, P.M.B 1459, Ilorin.
Application Closing Date 2016/2017
Application closing date for UITH admission is on or before 5th August, 2016. All completed application forms should have reached the Principal, School of Post Basic Nursing Studies, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
Screening Date 2016/2017
The date for the Written examination is the 9th August, 2016 which would be follwed by an Oral Interview 10th and 11th August, 2016. Candidates will only be interviewed for the course indicated in their application forms. Candidates are responsible for their accommodation during the exercise.
