To be eligible for the UDUTH Basic Midwifery Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Obtain five (5) credits in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- The credits must be obtained in up to two sittings.
- Accepted examination boards include WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.

Application Process for UDUTH Basic Midwifery Admission Form
Follow these steps to complete your application:
Step 1: Pay the Application Fee
- The application fee is ₦7,000, which is non-refundable.
- Payment is made through the Remita platform.
Step 2: Generate the Payment Details on Remita
- Visit the Remita Payment Portal.
- Select “Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto” from the MDA menu.
- Under the service option, choose “UDUTH School of Midwifery.”
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the payment of ₦7,000.
Step 3: Present Payment Receipt
- After making the payment, take the receipt to the UDUTH School of Midwifery cashier.
- Collect a cashier’s receipt, which includes your serial number and PIN.
Step 4: Complete the Application Form Online
- Visit the UDUTH Basic Midwifery Application Page.
- Enter your serial number and PIN to access the application form.
- Fill in all required fields with accurate information.
- Submit the form online.
Step 5: Print Your Application Form
- After submission, print a colored copy of your completed application form.
- The printed form must be brought along on the day of the entrance examination.
