TASUED Stops Awarding “Pass” Class of Degree
Tai Sholarin University of Education, TASUED, in compliance with the directives by the National Universities Commission (NUC) has abolished Pass class of degree from the system starting from 20122013 academic session.
According to the NUC, the class of degree terminates at Third Class with the passed mark pegged at 45% while students whose Grade Point Average fall below 1.50 should be advised to withdraw from the University.
The University software used in computing results will be reviewed to reflect the new order while Deans of Colleges as well as Heads of Departments are enjoined to comply with this directive.
NGScholars hereby advises students who are very close to that line of Pass to step up their performance to avoid being expelled from the university.
