(Photos) Students of Kogi State University Protests Over 3months ASUU Strike
The Students of Kogis State University have protested against the 3months old strike current taking place in the school. The Student Union Government (SUG) led the protest at the Kogi State University, and has teamed up with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS),over the three months of industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Kogi State University chapter.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Kogi State University chapter embarked on a strike to press home demands for their 5 months salary arrears, though the State Government have paid 4 months salary arrears, but the Union are still insisting on getting the remaining 1 month left and would not go back unless their demand is met.
The protest took place today at Ganaja Junction, Lokoja, the state’s capital according to reports, with students holding placards expressing their grief of staying at home and are pleading to the State Governor to meet the needs of their Lecturers in other for their own needs be met.
