Rhema University Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Requirements
- Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, at O’ Level (not more than two sittings).
- Bachelor’s degree with at least a third class from an accredited university.
- HND in a relevant discipline with at least an upper credit.
- For unclassified HNDs, a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale, 3.0 on a 4-point scale, or a 60% average.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class lower division and a CGPA of 3.0/5.0.
- Alternatively, a postgraduate diploma from a recognized institution.
- Other qualifications as accepted by the Rhema University Senate.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum performance of 60% or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Alternatively, an M.Phil. degree in a relevant discipline.
Concept Note Requirement: Applicants for Ph.D. and Master’s programs are required to submit a Concept Note with their application:
- For Ph.D.: Two pages
- For Master’s: One page
The Concept Note should include:
- Brief theoretical background
- Statement of the problem
- Study relevance
- Objectives
- Justification
- Methodology
Failure to submit a Concept Note may result in disqualification from the interview stage.
Program Duration
- Postgraduate Diploma: Minimum of two semesters; maximum of four semesters.
- Master’s Degree: Minimum of three semesters; maximum of five semesters.
- Ph.D.: Minimum of six semesters; maximum of eight semesters.
