Petroleum Training Institute, PTI Effurun Part-time/ICE admission forms (ND & HND) for the 2018/2019 academic session are out. Sales of admission form into Part-time at both levels mentioned above have started.

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under-mentioned Part-time programmes in Higher National Diploma (HND), and National Diploma (ND) Programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

General Requirement for PTI Effurun PT/ICE Admission

HND and ND candidates are to possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include​​ English Language and Mathematics, while HND candidates must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes.  ​​ ​​​​ For details see online admission prospectus for 2018/2019 Academic Session.

How To Apply For PTI Effurun PT/ICE Admission 2018/2019

How Much is PTI Part-time Admission Form? Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of eight thousand, five hundred naira (N8,500.00) for each PTI Part-Time admission form for 2017/2018 Academic Session.

Candidates offering HND and ND Part-Time programmes should apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) by following the steps below:

• • Visit​​ www.pti.edu.ng

• • Click on “Admission Menu”

• • Click on​​ “Apply for Part time/ICE Programmes” ​​​​ and sign-up for admission ​​ (Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent use).

• • This will take you to the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.

• • Print the ​​ RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR print out.

• • After the payment of​​ N12, 000.00​​ which is the cost of each admission form, return to the PTI website (www.pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application”.​​ 

• • Enter your User Name and Password and click​​ LOGIN

• Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination/Interview centre along with your RRR print out.

Inconsistency in names, passport,​​ O’Level Certficates and other registration documents will not be acceptable to the institute and lead to disqualifications of defaulting candidates

PTI Effurun Part-time Entrance Exam & Interview for 2018/2019

Interview for Higher National Diploma Candidates

There will not be any interview for candidates offering HND as assessment and selection successful candidates will be based on the candidates’ O’ Level and ND results. However, the transcripts of candidates should reach the office of the Registrar, Petroleum Training Institute, P. M. B. 20, Effurun, Delta State, from the institutions they graduated from on or before the set deadline. The transcript should be sent through courier service for safety.

Entrance Examination for National Diploma Candidates

There will not be any entrance examination for candidates offering ND programme as assessment and selection of successful candidates will be based on candidates’ O’ Level result(s).

Application Closing Date

New Closing Date for Part Time and Post HND Application Form:
Closing date for the sales of 2018/2019 admission forms is hereby extended to 31st December, 2018.

The PTI Part-time ICE application closes on the 21st​​ of September, 2018. Late application starts from 22nd​​ September 2018 and ends on 5th​​ Oct., 2018 at the cost of thirteen thousand Naira (N13,000). Thereafter, the site will be officially closed.
