Police Arrest 3 Polytechnic Students in Ogun over Cultism
Police in Ogun State have arrested three Polytechnic students in Ogun over over cultism. The suspects have been threatening to kill a colleague of theirs for failing to join their cult group.

3 students arrested by Police in Ogun over cultism
The men of the Ogun State police command attached to the anti-crime patrol team, Agbara Division on Friday arrested three students of ICT Polytechnic, Igbesa, in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government area for threatening to kill another student if he failed to become a member of Vikings Confraternity.
The suspected cultists arrested are Kenneth Mokwunye, Adigun David and Okwuma Obiora.
According to the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspects have been threatening to kill this colleague of theirs for failing to join their cult group.
He said, “Based on this threat, the student eventually raised the alarm for his safety.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, commended the victimised student for exposing the threats of the suspected cultists.
Adejobi added, “He lauded his courage and advised other students who experience such to reveal their ordeals in the hands of these devilish cultists to security operatives in order to save their lives and that of others.”
