Eligibility Criteria for PLASU Post UTME/Direct Entry
To participate in the PLASU Post UTME/Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- For UTME Candidates:
- You must have selected Plateau State University, as your first choice in the 2024 JAMB UTME.
- The minimum JAMB score required is 160.
- For specific programs, higher cut-off marks are required:
- Faculty of Health Sciences:
- Department of Nursing Sciences: 215
- Department of Medical Laboratory Science: 200
- Department of Public Health: 180
- Faculty of Law: Minimum score of 200
- Faculty of Social Sciences:
- Department of Psychology: 180
- Faculty of Health Sciences:
- For Direct Entry Candidates:
- You must have chosen PLASU as your first choice in the 2024 JAMB DE application.
- You must possess any of the following qualifications:
- First Degree, HND, ND (minimum of Lower Credit)
- IJMB/JUPEB with at least 6 points
How to Apply for PLASU Post UTME/Direct Entry
The screening process is conducted online. Follow these steps to apply:
- Access the PLASU Portal:
Visit the PLASU Application Portal. - Select the Application Form:
Choose “UTME/DE APPLICATION” from the menu. - JAMB Verification:
Enter your JAMB Registration Number to verify your eligibility. - Create an Account:
Provide a valid email address, create a secure password, and confirm it. A confirmation link will be sent to your email. - Email Confirmation:
Check your email for the confirmation link. Click the link to log in and continue your application. - Payment Process:
- Generate an RRR Number: Click “Click to make payment” to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Payment Method: You can either:
- Pay via card by selecting “Proceed To Payment”.
- Pay via cash by copying the RRR and paying at any commercial bank.
- Screening Fee: A non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 is required.
- Upload Documents:
- Upload a recent passport photograph (maximum file size: 150kb; acceptable formats: png, jpg, jpeg).
- Upload your academic records (O’ Level results) as specified in the JAMB brochure for PLASU.
- Complete the Application:
- Direct Entry candidates must additionally fill in their academic qualifications (ND, HND, IJMB, or JUPEB).
- Review all details before submission.
