Oxford Adds YOLO, Live-tweeting to Dictionary
Oxford has added YOLO (acronym for You only live once) to the Oxford Dictionaries. Several other words and terms such as slangs, technical terms and acronyms have been added too.
YOLO is an acronym for “you only live once,” made popular by musician, Drake in his 2011 song, “The Motto” . The terms got approval from Oxford in the quarterly update of its online dictionary, released this week.

Some other terms/words included in the Oxford dictionary update include:
Live-tweeting: the practice of watching multiple episodes of a television show in a single sitting.
Hate-watch: watching something “for the sake of the enjoyment one derives from mocking or criticizing it”
Mansplain: (Of a man) explain (something) to someone, typically a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing
Clickbait: (On the Internet) content, especially that of a sensational or provocative nature, whose main purpose is to attract attention and draw visitors to a particular web page
