A.) FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCE

1.) Lecture I – CONNUASS 04
Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Lecturer I in Medical Microbiology must possess M.B.B.S., M.B.Ch.B or M.D. Degree and Fellowship of the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine of the West African College of Physicians or Faculty of Pathology, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Candidate with Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology can also apply. Evidence of skills in molecular microbiology with a minimum of six publications in peer-reviewed academic journals is required.
2.) Lecture II – CONNUASS 03
Requirements
- Candidates applying for the position of Lecturer II must possess M.B.B.S., M.B.Ch.B or M.D. Degree and a Membership of the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine of the West African College of Medicine or Faculty of Pathology, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
- A holder of an M.Sc. degree in Medical Parasitology may also apply. However, such a candidate must be enrolled currently in a Ph.D. programme and preferably at an advanced stage (i.e. about completing). Our ideal candidate will have a sufficiently broad background in microbiology and infectious diseases.

Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Lecturer I must possess M.B.B.S., M.B.Ch.B and should possess the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in the Faculty of Obstectrics and Gynaecology or their equivalents.
- Successful applicants will have to reside permanently at Ilesa as part of the condition for this appointment where he/she would engage in the teaching, training and services functions for the student’s instructional pedagogy.

Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Assistant Lecturer must possess a professional Masters Degree in Architecture from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife or any other equivalent Institution. He/She must have registered for an M.Phil/Ph.D Research Programme in Architecture with special focus on Architectural Design and Production and providing a clear evidence of progress being made.
- The applicant must have a flair for architectural photography.

Requirements
- Candidates applying for the positions advertised above must have earned at least an M.Sc. Degrees in Zoology or a relevant field from Obafemi Awolowo University or any other recognized university.
- The candidates must have a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division at B.Sc. (Honours) Degree Level. Possession of NYSC discharge certificate is mandatory.

Areas of Specialization: French Language and Applied Linguistics; Translation and Translation Studies
Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Senior Lecturer must possess Ph.D. in French Linguistics (Applied Linguistics) from any reputable university.
- Candidates must have at least 5 years post Ph.D. experience in the teaching of Applied French Linguistics in recognized universities within or outside Nigeria as well as publications in highly reputable journals within and outside Nigeria that conform to the criteria for Senior Lectureship positions in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
8.) Lecturer I or II – CONNUASS 04
Areas of Specialization: Portuguese Language and Luso-Brazilian Literature and Cultures
Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Lecturer I or Lecturer II must possess Ph.D. or a Master of Arts Degree in Portuguese or Brazilian Studies from the Obafemi Awolowo University or any other reputable university outside Nigeria.
- In addition, candidates must have at least 4 years of post qualification experience in the teaching of Portuguese Language and Brazilian Literature and Culture in recognised universities within or outside Nigeria. Also required are publications in highly reputable journals that conform to the criteria for the appointment of Lectureship positions in the Obafenn Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
9.) Assistant Lecturer – CONNUASS 02
Areas of Specialization: Portuguese Languages and Literature
Requirements
- Candidate applying for the position of Assistant Lecturer must possess a Master of Arts Degree in Portuguese or Brazilian Studies from the Obafeim Awolowo University or any other reputable university outside Nigeria.
- Possession of a good certificate of proficiency in Portuguese language such as the CELPE-BRAS will be an added advantage. Applicants are expected to undertake a Ph.D in Luso-Brazilian Studies.

- Candidates applying for the position of Nursing Officer must have a BNSc. degree with not less than Second Class Lower division from a recognized University, He/she must be registered as a Nurse/ Midwife/ Public Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have a minimum of five years clinical experience in a reputable hospital.
