OAU Teaching Hospital Post Basic Nursing Admission Form 2022/2023

OAU Teaching Hospital Schools of Nursing Peri-operative and Post Basic General Nursing  admission forms for the 2022/2023 academic session are now out on sale to the general public. Interested members of the public are hereby informed.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife:

Payment for the FORM is strictly by ATM CARD through REMITA Platform via OAUTHC website

1. National Diploma (ND) in Nursing
2. Post Basic General Nursing
3. Post Basic Midwifery
4. Post Basic Peri-operative Nursing

National Diploma (ND) in Nursing

Requirements

• Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.

Method of Application

1. Applicant(s) are advised to obtain year 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form and sit for the examination, so as to enable successful candidates regularize their admission status with JAMB as soon as they are admitted into the OAUTHC Schools of Nursing.
2. Applicant(s) are advised to choose OAUTHC School of Nursing, Ile-Ife as their first choice of institution.
3. It is compulsory for the interested applicant(s) to register for these four (4) courses in their UTME form online, namely: – English language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
4. The OAUTHC Schools of Nursing both at Ile-Ife and Ilesa respectively have been accredited by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) to run National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing.

Post-UTME Screening Exercise For 2022/2023 Session

1. Post-UTME Screening Exercise will hold for candidates who passed UTME Entrance Examination and made School of Nursing, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State as their first choice of institution, or those willing to change their institution and make School of Nursing OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State, their first choice for the approved programme.
2. All candidates must ensure that they upload their O/Level results into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and choose School of Nursing OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State as their first choice of institution.
3. Successful candidates are to register on-line by accessing the institution’s website: www.oauthc.com to complete and submit their applications. They are expected to relogin back on REPRINT web section and print the screening schedule in two (2) copies of the application form after submission and come to the school for Post UTME screening at the scheduled date given on the printout form.
4. Payment of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the Post UTME screening exercise. Portal access fee of six thousand Naira (N6,000.00) only which will include: –
   1. Access to the registration portal.
   2. Checking of date and venue of the screening exercise.
   3. Checking of the admission status.
   4. Printing of the admission letter. The total payment amounting to eight thousand Naira (N8,000.00) only payable to OAUTHC account through Remita platform via OAUTHC Website.

Mode of Post UTME Screening Exercise

This includes Computer Based Test (CBT) and physical presentation of candidates.

Application Closing Date

The closing date for the National Diploma (ND) in Nursing admission is Thursday 18^th August, 2022.

Date for Computer Based Test (CBT)

Computer Based Test shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Tuesday, 23^rd and Wednesday, 24^th August, 2022.

Post Basic General Nursing

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in April, 2023.

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. Be a registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  3. Please note that candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results.

Method of Application

Application forms for the Post Basic General Nursing program are obtainable online from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.com upon payment of Ten thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only through Remita platform via OAUTHC Website.

Closing Date

The closing date for OAUTH Post Basic General Nursing is Thursday, 25^th August, 2022.

Test and Selection Interview

• Written Test – Tuesday, 30^th August, 2022.
• Oral Interview – Wednesday, 31^st August, 2022 and Thursday, 1^st September, 2022.

Post Basic Midwifery

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in September, 2022.

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
  3. Please note that candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results.

Method of Application

Application forms for the Post Basic Midwifery are obtainable online from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.com upon payment of Ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only through Remita platform via OAUTHC Website.

Application Closing Date

The closing date for the Post Basic Midwifery admission application is Thursday 25^th August, 2022.

Test and Selection Interview

• Written Test: Tuesday 30^th August, 2022
• Oral Interview: Wednesday 31^st August, 2022 and Thursday, 1^st September, 2022.

Post Basic Peri-operative Nursing

This is a twelve-month programme commencing in November, 2022.

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
  3. Please note that candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results

The closing date for Post Basic Peri-operative Nursing admission application is Thursday 11^th August, 2022.

Test and Selection Interview

• Written Test – Tuesday, 16^th August, 2022.
• Oral Interview – Wednesday, 17^th and Thursday, 18^th August, 2022.
