OAU Convocation Ceremony Date & Programme of Events 2019
OAU Convocation Ceremony – Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife 44th convocation ceremony date & schedule of events have been released.
The programmes, including procedure for collection of convocation gowns (academic robes) by graduands are also included. All graduates of OAU who are going to take part in this convocation are hereby informed.

OAU 44th Convocation has been scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 11th to Saturday, 14th December, 2019 with the following highlights:
(1) Wednesday, 11th December, 2019
(a) Award of Diploma Certificates
Venue: Department of Local Government Studies

(b) Convocation Lecture
Topic: Education: The Key to Unlocking Nigeria’s Human Capital
Guest Speaker: Mr. Gbenga Oyebode, MFR

(c) Opening of Exhibition of Research Activities
Venue: Motion Ground

(2) Thursday, 12th December, 2019
(a) Conferment of Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s Degree and Award of Prizes to Graduating Students in the Faculties of Administration, Arts, Education, Law and Social Sciences
