MOUAU Postgraduate Admission Form 2023/2024 Is Out

MOUAU Postgraduate admission form for 2023/2024 academic session is out. Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, MOUAU has started selling Postgraduate application forms for 2023/2024 admission into Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and PhD programmes.

The management of MOUAU has now made available its Postgraduate admission application form for the 2023/2024 academic session. Eligible candidates from near and wide are invited to apply for admission.

MOUAU Postgraduate Admission Requirements (PGD, M.Sc. & Ph.D.)

Here are the entry requirements for the Postgraduate admission for the 2023/2024 academic session;

To be eligible for admission into a Postgraduate programme of the University, the candidate must possess a minimum of FIVE O’LEVEL CREDIT passes in ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS and any other three relevant subjects at not more than TWO sittings.

A. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)

To be eligible for admission into the PGD programme, candidates must be holders of third class honors first degree in a relevant discipline from any university or holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum of upper Credit in a relevant discipline. For unclassified HND Certificates, a CGPA of 3.5 (5- point scale) and 3.00 (4-point scale) or 60% shall be taken as equivalent to upper credit.

B. MASTERS DEGREE (M.Sc.)

To be eligible for admission into the Master’s degree programme, candidates must.

• Be graduates of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike or any other recognized University by Senate and should have obtained a first degree with at least Second Class Honors (CGPA of 3.00 and above on 5point scale and 2.50 on 4point scale).
• Possess the Higher National Diploma (HND), with at least Upper Credit and Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution and
• Any other certificate or qualification that may be acceptable to Senate.

C. DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY DEGREE (Ph.D.)

To be eligible for admission into the Doctor of Philosophy degree programme, a candidate should have obtained a Master’s Degree which includes course work and research from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture or its equivalent from any other University recognized by Senate in relevant disciplines, with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 4.0 (5- point scale) or 3.00 (4- point scale).

All Ph.D, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.Eng candidates MUST possess credits in English and Mathematics in addition to three other relevant subjects at O’level.

How To Buy MOUAU Postgraduate Admission Form & Apply For The 2023/2024 Academic Session

To apply for the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture PG admission:

Interested candidates should obtain application forms ONLINE by visiting www.mouau.edu.ng and click on the Postgraduate Application button. This links to a 2-stage application process. Candidates are advised to read the guidelines described carefully and follow the process to complete the application. An application fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) will be paid to the University through the Remita platform www.remita.net as described in the guidelines. Once payment is successfully concluded, candidate visits the MOUAU Portal at (www.mouauportal.edu.ng) to complete Stage 2 of the application process.

After submitting the online form, candidates are expected to print the Transcript Application Label that will be displayed and forward same to the Institution from where they earned their qualifying degree(s). Completed application forms and all relevant documents should be enclosed in the PG File obtainable from PG Room F2 and returned to:

Academic transcripts should be forwarded from the qualifying Institutions to the same address before the closing date. Please note that any candidate whose transcript is not received will not be considered for admission.

MOUAU Postgraduate Application Closing Date

Closing date for the receipt of completed MOUAU postgraduate application forms and transcript for the 2023/2024 session is 4 weeks from date of publication.
