LAUTECH Matriculates 5,281 out of 10,609 Admission Applicants

LAUTECH has matriculated about half, 5,281 of the 10,609 candidates that applied for admission. LADOKE Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Thursday, matriculated 5,281 students into various faculties of the institution.

While delivering his speech during the ceremony at the  institutions auditorium, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Gbadegesin, told the new students to face their studies seriously as  over 10,000 applicants applied for admission into the institution during the 2013/2014 admission exercise.

He  informed the students on the need to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution, saying: “Like every community, there are rules and regulations and laws that govern the conduct and behaviour of all members of the community.”

Professor Gbadegesin, therefore, advised the students not to engage in negative activities as the 2015 general election draws nearer and warned them not  to join any secret group.
