LASPOTECH Student Who Attempted Suicide Given Scholarship

Remember the LASPOTECH Accounting student that attempted suicide after the theft of his school fees , He has now being given scholarship to further his education. Life had been so cruel to Mr Olaniyan Babatunde that he decided to end it all, but for the grace of God.

At the Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide International headquarters in Ajah area of Lagos. Mr Olaniyan Babatunde was moved to tears as the congregation with a standing ovation received him, though he tried so hard to control his lacrimal gland but to no avail he wept and wept wondering how this could have ever happened to him as he received the scholarship.

If  it was a dream the 21 year-old Ordinary National Diploma Accounting student of the Lagos State Polytechnic, would not want to wake up. But for the intervention of the Almighty He would have been history, six feet in the ground.

Aside the scholarship, the church also paid N15,000 into the undergraduate’s account, to help him conclude his project which he left undone, owing to lack of funds. Some other individuals also give him some amount ranging from N5000 to N10000 individually.

When giving the opportunity to talk, He said “ I was surprised when I received a message that I have been awarded a scholarship by the church. They have proved to me that after the darkest night comes dawn. Indeed there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am grateful to the church for being instrumental to the realisation of my dreams.

He “I thank God for sending helpers my way , especially Motailatu Church Cherubim & Seraphim Worldwide International Headquarters that has granted me scholarship to study to any level”.
