Jigawa Speaker Gives N1m To 105 Candidates To Purchase NECO Scratch Card
The Jigawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Idris Garba, has magnanimously donated N1 million to 105 candidates to buy scratch cards to register for their 2016 Nov/Dec NECO examination. The speaker has been known to be a fellow who takes education quiet seriously as he donates generously to students in need.
About 70 male and 30 female candidates from Jahun Local Government Area of the state have benefitted from this donation made by Alhaji Idris Garba who represents Jahun Constituency in the state assembly.
He Said, ” Let me categorically say that education is the number one priority of the speaker and he will continue to ensure its development at all levels in the state”.
He also advised parents to encourage the governments effort and other philanthropists’ efforts by enrolling their children in schools.
