The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) in Lapai has opened the Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. All candidates who chose IBBU as their first choice are invited to apply and complete the screening process.

To participate in the IBBU Post UTME/Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• First Choice Selection: IBBU must be selected as the candidate’s first choice during the 2024 UTME registration.
• UTME Score: A minimum score of 150 in the 2024 UTME is required.
• Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Direct Entry candidates are welcome to apply, but A’ Level NABTEB results are not accepted. DE candidates must pay the screening fee and upload scanned copies of their GCE or Advanced Level (IJMBE) A’ Level results.

To ensure a successful application process, follow the step-by-step guide below:

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Before beginning the application, verify your eligibility by visiting the IBBU Eligibility Portal. Make sure that you meet all necessary requirements, such as choosing IBBU as your first choice and having the required UTME or Direct Entry qualifications.

Step 2: Payment Process

Once your eligibility is confirmed, proceed with the payment process through Paystack:

• The screening fee is N2,000. This fee covers the submission of one or two O’Level results and includes bank or transaction charges.

Step 3: Application Procedure

The screening process runs from Wednesday, 21st August to Friday, 27th September 2024. It is divided into three key stages:

Stage 1: Eligibility Check

• Enter your JAMB Registration Number on the IBBU screening portal to check your eligibility.
• Provide your mobile number and select the number of O’Level results (up to two sittings) you wish to submit.
• A Transaction ID/Invoice will be generated, providing two payment options:
  • Interswitch Branch Collect
  • Interswitch WebPAY

Stage 2: Payment Execution

You can pay either at a participating bank or online:

• Branch Collect: Generate an invoice slip and make your payment at any bank partnered with Interswitch (e.g., Fidelity Bank, First Bank, Heritage Bank, etc.).
• WebPAY: For online payment, follow the detailed instructions on the IBBU UTME Result Screening Portal to complete the transaction.

Stage 3: Result Submission

Once payment is confirmed:

• You will receive an SMS confirmation with login details.
• Log in to the IBBU Submission Portal using the provided details, and submit your O’Level results along with other required information.
• After submission, print the Acknowledgement Slip for your records.
