IBBU Gets Full Accreditation By NUC
The Accounting and Public Administration programmes of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai have been given full accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The results of the accreditation exercise conducted by officials of NUC in January, 2016, which was made available to IBBU News indicated that the full accreditation status of the two programmes is valid for a period of five years. This feat was achieved through a deliberate effort by the Management to boost the programmes with required calibre of faculty and world standard learning facilities.
The success of full accreditation exercise will now enable the University to admit fresh students into the two programmes for 2016/2017 academic session. This may not really be appreciated by the incoming students, but to the school authorities and well wisher it would recalling the fact that both Accounting and Public Administration programmes lost accreditation during the 2013 exercise. Leading to it being discredited making both Departments wait another three year to attain such a feature which would not be taking for granted.
With there full accreditation status, promises had been made by the Accounting and Public Administration Programme to ensure relentless and selfless services are rendered to their students, School and country at large.
