Eligibility Criteria for FUTO Post-UTME
To be eligible for the FUTO Post-UTME, candidates must:
- Select FUTO as their first choice in the 2024 UTME or Direct Entry (DE).

The screening will be based on verified JAMB scores and O’Level results (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Ensure that all your details on JAMB CAPS match your Post-UTME application.
Application and Payment Procedure
To apply for the FUTO Post-UTME, follow these steps:
- Visit the FUTO website
- Go to FUTO’s official website and click on “Prospective Students” then “Undergraduate.”
- Generate Payment Invoice
- Access the FUTO Post-UTME/DE Application portal and generate your payment invoice by entering your JAMB Registration Number.
- Pay the Screening Fee
- Pay a ₦2,000.00 processing fee at any bank using the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) or pay via ATM.
- Complete the Application
- Return to the portal, login with your JAMB Registration Number, and fill out the application form. Ensure the information is accurate.
- Submit and Print Acknowledgement Slip
- After completing the form, confirm and submit it. Print the acknowledgement slip for your records.
Important Information
- All applicants must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS by 16 September 2024. Failure to do so will disqualify candidates from the admission process.
- Direct Entry candidates must ensure their academic transcripts are sent to the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, by 16 September 2024.
