Eligibility Criteria for FUTO Post-UTME

To be eligible for the FUTO Post-UTME, candidates must:

• Select FUTO as their first choice in the 2024 UTME or Direct Entry (DE).
• Score a minimum of 150 in the UTME. If FUTO was not your first choice but you meet the score requirement, you can change to FUTO on the JAMB CAPS.

Direct Entry Requirements

• Direct Entry candidates must possess OND/HND/First Degree and A’Level in relevant subjects.

Screening Process

The screening will be based on verified JAMB scores and O’Level results (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Ensure that all your details on JAMB CAPS match your Post-UTME application.

Application and Payment Procedure

To apply for the FUTO Post-UTME, follow these steps:

1. Visit the FUTO website
   • Go to FUTO’s official website and click on “Prospective Students” then “Undergraduate.”
2. Generate Payment Invoice
   • Access the FUTO Post-UTME/DE Application portal and generate your payment invoice by entering your JAMB Registration Number.
3. Pay the Screening Fee
   • Pay a ₦2,000.00 processing fee at any bank using the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) or pay via ATM.
4. Complete the Application
   • Return to the portal, login with your JAMB Registration Number, and fill out the application form. Ensure the information is accurate.
5. Submit and Print Acknowledgement Slip
   • After completing the form, confirm and submit it. Print the acknowledgement slip for your records.

Important Information

• All applicants must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS by 16 September 2024. Failure to do so will disqualify candidates from the admission process.
• Direct Entry candidates must ensure their academic transcripts are sent to the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, by 16 September 2024.
