FUTIA Post UTME Screening Form 2024/2025: Eligibility, Steps to Apply, and Notable Dates

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, FUTIA Post UTME screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session has been announced and opened.

Candidates interested in securing admission into FUTIA must complete this screening process to be considered.

This opportunity is open to all qualified candidates who participated in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as well as Direct Entry (DE) applicants.

Eligibility for FUTIA Post UTME Screening

To be eligible for the FUTIA Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Minimum UTME Score:
   Candidates must have scored at least 160 in the 2024 UTME to be eligible for the screening.
2. First Choice Institution:
   Candidates who selected FUTIA as their first choice during the UTME registration are eligible to apply.
   Candidates who did not initially select FUTIA can still apply by changing their first choice to FUTIA on the JAMB CAPS Portal.
3. O’Level Requirements:
   Candidates must have passed at least five relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. This must include English and Mathematics, and the results should be obtained in no more than two sittings.

How to Apply for FUTIA Post UTME Screening

Online registration for the FUTIA Post UTME screening will begin on Monday, 19th August 2024. Follow the steps below to apply:

1. Visit the FUTIA Portal:
   Go to the FUTIA Portal and click on “Click here to apply.”
2. Select the Undergraduate Link:
   On the top menu bar, click on the “Undergraduate” link.
3. Enter JAMB Registration Number:
   Provide your JAMB registration number and click “Continue.”
4. Complete Basic Information:
   Fill in the required information, including a valid phone number and email address, and then click “Next.”
5. Make Payment:
   On the payment review page, click “Make Payment” to proceed to the payment page.
6. Provide Card Details:
   Enter your ATM card details (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) and submit.
7. Enter OTP Code:
   You will receive an OTP code on your phone. Enter the code and click “Continue” to complete the payment.
8. Login to Complete Registration:
   After successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal. Use your JAMB registration number and Surname as your password, then click “Login” to complete your registration.
9. Print Completed Form and Receipt:
   After completing the registration, ensure you print the completed registration form and payment receipt for your records.

Important Notes for FUTIA Post UTME Applicants

• Admission Acceptance:
  A grace period of four weeks will be given for all approved admissions to be accepted by candidates.
• Awaiting Results:
  Candidates with awaiting results may apply. However, they must ensure that their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) are uploaded on the JAMB Portal at a JAMB-approved CBT centre.
• No Individual Sales Agents:
  FUTIA does not have individual sales agents for admission. Any dealings or payments made to individuals or unauthorized accounts are at the candidate’s risk.
