The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has announced the availability of its Centre for Professional Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences (CPPEG) Postgraduate Admission Form for the 2024/2025 academic session.

FUPRE CPPEG Postgraduate Admission Program Overview

The CPPEG, in collaboration with Laser Engineering and Resources Consultants Limited through the Laser Petroleum Geosciences Centre (LPGC), offers Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.) programs. These programs, accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical skills in the oil and gas industry.

• Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
  • Duration: 12 months.
  • Focus: Develop essential skills in Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering.
• Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
  • Duration: 15 months (coursework + research).
