FUPRE Admission Application (ND, PDG) 2015/2016

Federal University of Petroleum, Effurun, FUPRE admission application for the 2015/2016 academic session into ND and PGD (Full time, Part-time) has started. The Centre for Safety Education of the University is inviting applications from qualified candidates. The Centre offers National Diploma (ND), Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) programmes and Certificate Courses in Safety Training and Education.

The FUPRE admission is for 2015/2016 session into National Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Environment Safety and Security (HESS) as well as short courses for Companies in Industrial Safety, Health and Security, Basic Water Survival, QA/QC, H2S & Gas Testing, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

Other courses include, Confined Space Entry, Advance Fire Fighting, First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Environmental Waste Management, Environmental Audit, Forklift and Crane Operations, Safe Rigging and Lifting, and Safe handling of chemicals (SHOC)/SDS.

FUPRE Admission Requirements For National Diploma Programmes

Candidates who are seeking admission into FUPRE’S National Diploma programmes must have 5 credit ‘O’ level passes in Mathematics, English Language.

Duration of ND Programme

The programme duration for the diploma programme (full-time) programme is for a period of (9) months only.

Admission Requirements For Full-Time Postgraduate Diploma Programme – 2015/2016

Candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma programme of FUPRE, must be holder of the following qualifications:

  • HND/BA/B.Sc including General HSE and HSE Level 3 Certificate in Safety
  • Candidate without HSE Certificate can also apply.

Duration of PGD Programme (Full-time)

The programme duration for the full-time Postgraduate diploma programme is for a period ot Twelve (12) months.

IMPORTANT NOTE: At the end of the Federal University of Petroleum, Effurun Postgraduate Diploma programme, successful candidate can use the Certificate to gain admission into Master’s Degree programme.

Admission Requirements For Part-Time PGD Programme – 2015/2016

Candidates for the 2015/2016 FUPRE part-time Postgraduate Diploma programme, must be holder of the following qualifications:

  • HND/BA/B.Sc including General HSE and HSE Level 3 Certificate in Safety
  • Candidate without HSE Certificate can also apply.

Duration of the Part-time PGD Programme

The programme duration for the full-time Postgraduate diploma programme is for a period ot Twelve (18) months.

  • Click Start Registration.
  • Fill the application form carefully with your biodata, O’ level result and your bank teller details.
  • Verify the information you have entered if there is any mistake, then click Submit button.
  • Print your confirmation page.

Upload a standard passport (Size: not more than 300×300 px)

How much is the application fee?

A non-refundable application fee of are to be paid by 2015/2016 FUPRE admission applicants:

Fifteen thousand Five Hundred Naira (N15, 500) only for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and
Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N10, 500) only for National Diploma (ND), made payable to the bank details above.

Application Deadline:

All applications for the 2015/2016 admission of FUPRE must be submitted not later than 31st December, 2015.
