The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta – FUNAAB Post UTME/DE screening form is now available for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Established in 1988, FUNAAB has emerged as a leader in agricultural sciences and research in Nigeria. This guide provides all the necessary details for aspiring students seeking admission to 100, 200, or 300 levels for the upcoming academic session starting in October 2024.

FUNAAB Admission Details

Admission into FUNAAB is highly competitive, and successful candidates will be admitted through JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Selected candidates will also participate in an ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare for their university experience.

General O’Level Requirements

• O’Level Credits: Candidates must possess at least five O’Level credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.

Eligibility Criteria

For UTME Candidates

• JAMB Choice: Candidates must have selected FUNAAB as their preferred institution.
• UTME Score: Achieve a minimum score of 160 in the 2024/2025 UTME.

For Direct Entry Candidates

• Qualification: Must have a minimum of Upper Credit or equivalent.
• JAMB Choice: FUNAAB should be your most preferred institution.
• Transcript Submission: Submit your transcripts or certified statements of results to the Registrar by Friday, 6th September 2024.

FUNAAB Post UTME/DE Application Procedure

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Generate Application Invoice:
   • Visit the FUNAAB Admission Portal and enter your JAMB UTME or Direct Entry Registration Number to generate your Application Invoice.
   • This invoice will provide your REMITA Reference Number and payment details for a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.
2. Make Payment:
   • Pay the fee at any bank accepting REMITA or online using a debit card or Internet Banking via the Remita website.
3. Complete the Application Form:
   • Return to the FUNAAB Admission Portal to log in and complete the e-application form.
   • Your details from the JAMB portal will be displayed and cannot be altered. Ensure all other information is entered correctly.
4. Submit the Application:
   • Review your application on the last page (acknowledgment page), confirm all entries, and submit.
   • Print out the Application Form, which will display your passport photograph.

Important Application Dates

• Application Period: Opens on Thursday, 1st August 2024, and closes on Friday, 20th September 2024.
• Correction Fee: Changes to submitted data cost ₦1,500 and must be made before the closing date.
