FUNAAB Expels 28, Rusticates, Withdraws Certificates of others [Names]
FUNAAB Expels 28, Rusticates 10, Reprimands 16, withdraws the certificates of 4: The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has expelled 28 students, rusticated 10, reprimanded 16 and withdrew certificates of four (4).
This is in furtherance of its tradition of academic and moral excellence. The names of the students, their departments and the effective date of punishments served to them are available in the table below.

In a memo signed by the University’s Registrar and Secretary to Senate, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola, the Senate at its 213th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 31st May, 2018 considered the report of the Student Disciplinary Committee and found the erring students culpable.
The release warned that those expelled are no longer allowed to enter the University Campus without a written approval of the Registrar.

It further informed that those rusticated with effect from First Semester 2017/2018 Academic Session will continue their academic pursuit in the First Semester of 2018/2019 Academic Session.
The Release disclosed that the University Senate resolved that the decision to expel, rusticate and reprimand the affected students is part of efforts to sanitize the system.
