The Federal University Gusau – FUGUS academic calendar has been officially released for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This detailed schedule applies to all undergraduate students across UG I and UG II categories.

First Semester Schedule | FUGUS Academic Calendar

Registration for Fresh Students:

• Monday, 25th November 2024 – Saturday, 7th December 2024 (2 weeks).

Lectures:

• Monday, 9th December 2024 – Saturday, 15th February 2025 (10 weeks).

Submission & Release of Continuous Assessment Results:

• Monday, 10th February 2025 – Friday, 14th February 2025 (1 week).

Examinations:

• Monday, 17th February 2025 – Saturday, 1st March 2025 (2 weeks).

First Semester Break & Results Compilation:

• Monday, 3rd March 2025 – Sunday, 9th March 2025 (1 week).

Approval of Results by Senate:

• Thursday, 20th March 2025.

Add/Drop Period:

• Monday, 26th January 2025 – Monday, 3rd February 2025 (1 week).

Second Semester Schedule | FUGUS Academic Calendar

Lectures:

• Monday, 10th March 2025 – Saturday, 17th May 2025 (10 weeks).

Submission & Release of Continuous Assessment Results:

• Monday, 12th May 2025 – Friday, 16th May 2025 (1 week).

Examinations:

• Monday, 19th May 2025 – Saturday, 31st May 2025 (2 weeks).

End of Session Break & Results Compilation:

• Monday, 2nd June 2025 – Sunday, 22nd June 2025 (3 weeks).

Consideration of Results by Faculty Boards:

• Monday, 16th June 2025 – Friday, 20th June 2025 (1 week).

Approval of Results by Senate:

• Thursday, 26th June 2025.

Add/Drop Period:

• Monday, 14th April 2025 – Monday, 21st April 2025 (1 week).

Start of the 2025/2026 Session

The new academic session is set to begin on Monday, 23rd June 2025.
