Apply For FIRE Africa Grants 2016

Calls for FIRE Grants 2016 application is currently ongoing. FIRE is Fund for Internet Research and Education (FIRE Africa) and it is a joint venture between AFRINIC, The Internet Society (ISOC) and the International Development Research Center (IDRC). Interested persons are hereby invited to apply.

What Is The FIRE Africa Grants?

The two bodies support projects that use ICT to develop innovative solutions to Africa’s unique education, access, information, infrastructure and communication needs.

2016 FIRE Africa Grants Details

This year, the available types of Grants are:

1.) The FIRE Africa Grants will provide four Grants of up to US$25,000 each for projects aligned with one of the following categories:

2.) The Internet Society Africa Grant will provide two Grants of US$ 25,000 each for two projects that focus on one of the two categories:

3.) The FIRE Africa Scale-Up Grants will provide three Grants of up to US$ 30,000 each for three existing projects to scale up activities and move to the next level of their cycle.Projects must be aligned with one of the following categories:
