The Embassy of France in Nigeria offers scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year for Nigerian students pursuing a master’s degree in management at French universities.

Embassy of France in Nigeria Scholarship Overview
Funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, this program supports students enrolled in Master’s programs at French public universities with annual tuition fees of up to €4,000. It covers:
- Two academic years for students starting at the first-year Master’s level (M1).
- One academic year for those entering the second-year level (M2).

The scholarship explicitly supports students in Management programs.

Recipients of the scholarship will receive:
- Transportation costs.
- Monthly stipend.
- Assistance in securing affordable housing.
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage during the study period.
Note: Tuition and registration fees are not included and must be covered by the recipients.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Embassy of France in Nigeria scholarship, applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria.
- Be under the age of 30.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Management.
- Have completed National Service (NYSC).
- Have a First Class or Second Class Upper degree (priority is given to higher academic achievements).
- Plan to start their studies in France in September or October 2025.
- Note that proficiency in French is not required.

Applicants need to submit the following on the Etudes en France platform:
- A copy of a valid international passport (at least two years of validity).
- Detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
- Personal statement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Undergraduate academic transcripts.
- NYSC completion certificate.
- A university recommendation letter (optional but recommended).
Application Timeline
- 1 December 2024: Application deadline on the Etudes en France platform.
- 8 January 2025: Campus France academic interviews begin in Lagos and Abuja.
- 25 February 2025: Deadline for Campus France interview payment.
- 15 March 2025: Final date for Campus France interviews.
- April 2025: Applications forwarded to universities.
- 30 April 2025: Deadline for university decisions.
- 1 May 2025: Final date for students to select an institution.
- May – June 2025: Interviews for selected scholarship recipients.
- July 2025: Start of the visa application process.
- September/October 2025: Academic term begins in France.
Application Process
- Create an account on the Etudes en France platform.
- Upload all required documents.
- Apply to up to seven universities or Institutes of Administration and Enterprises (IAE).
