Dr. S.A.O Adegoke Appointed OSCOTECH Rector
The new Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke (OSCOTECH) is Dr. Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke. The Governor of of Osun State has appointed him as the substantive rector of the institution.
The Governor,State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and Visitor to the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke has approved the appointment of Dr. Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke as the substantive Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke for the next four years with effect from 10th August, 2018.
This was contained in a letter dated 14th August, 2018 addressed to The Chairman, Governing Council and signed by the Special Adviser (Higher Education, Bursary and Scholarship) Prof. (Mrs.) Grace OluyemiAkinola.
Dr. Samson A. O. Adegoke, joined Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke in 1995 as Lecturer 1 at the Estate Management Department and rose to the position of Chief Lecturer in 2007. Until his appointment, he occupied different positions in the College such as; Ag. HOD, Estate Management, Dean, Faculty of Environmental Studies, Chairman, Committee of Deans, Deputy Rector and was the Ag. Rector from July 24, 2017 till date.
The Chairman Governing Council, Prof Layi Fagbenle, other Council members and Management team of the Institution hereby wish to express their appreciation for the kind gesture of the Governor.
