Students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, have been urged to shun idleness and embrace the opportunities in computer technology.
FUNAAB Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Professor Felix Salako, gave the charge in Abeokuta at a summer training organized for students by the International Centre for Professional Development (ICPD).
He said one of the reasons ICPD organized the programme is because many youths are keying-into computer technology.
Salako, who is the chairman of the ICPD board, urged the participants to use the knowledge they have gotten at the training.
The don noted that several developed countries have used computer software for human development.
