DELSU Issues Post Utme 2015 Disclaimer, Warns Applicants
The attention of the Delta State University (DELSU) Management has, once again, been drawn to the nefarious activities of some faceless individuals who are out to defraud unsuspecting candidates seeking for admissions into the University for the 2015/2016 academic session.
Information at the disposal of the University Authority indicates that these individuals are collecting money from candidates, by deceiving them that they have been offered provisional admissions into the Delta State University.
Suffice it to state here that the fraudsters have purportedly registered one Company known as Okamunu Progress Enterprises, with one Dr. Abubakar Ibrahim as signatory to the Company’s Account No. with First Bank Plc. Their victims are made to pay a particular amount of money into the account.
The said Dr. Abubakar Ibrahim, according to our source, forwarded the underlisted breakdown to their victims as fees charged by the University. One of their victims unsuspectingly paid the amount into the said account.
It is pertinent to reiterate for the umpteenth time that the University has not commenced the sale of Post UTME form; and therefore no candidate has been offered provisional admission for the 2015/2016 academic session.
Candidates are hereby advised in their own interest to discountenance such information. They should not patronize these fraudsters who are out to defraud unsuspecting candidates in respect of the 2015 Post UTME screening exercise of the Delta State University.
For the avoidance of doubt, the above table did not emanate from the University and is not a reflection of fees chargeable by the University.
It should therefore be totally disregarded by staff, students, parents/guardian and the general public.
