CRUTECH’s Architecture & Wood Products Eng. Get NUC Accreditation

Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH’s Architecture & Wood Products Engineering Programmes have secured full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC). This is according to a statement credited to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Anthony Owan-Enoh.

The VC, who made this known in Calabar, the state capital recently, explained that the university had secured professional accreditation for the programmes earlier in 2016.

According to him, “Architecture and Wood Products Engineering in 2015 earned interim accreditation, which however became denied because of the back to back interim results.”

The VC advised candidates registering for the 2017 JAMB UTME to apply for admission into any of the two courses of the university.

“Candidates registering for the forthcoming JAMB are now free to choose any of the courses for admission,” he said.

It would be recalled that the River-owned university had in 2015 secured full accreditation in 19 out of the 25 programmes presented to the NUC for accreditation.

Meanwhile the university authority has warned students indebted to the institution to clear their debts or face sanctions. See details of that here.

We congratulate the management of CRUTECH on this landmark achievement.
