Eligibility Criteria for COEWARRI Post UTME
To be eligible for admission into COEWARRI’s NCE programmes, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Qualification:
- You must have a Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) with at least four credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Two of the credits must be relevant to the course you wish to study.
- Alternatively, a Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credits or merits in four subjects may be accepted. Credits in English and Mathematics are mandatory for all candidates.
- Specific Subject Requirements:
- For English Language and Theatre Arts, a credit in English Language and Literature in English is required.
- For Computer Science, a credit in Physics is required.
- For Agricultural Science, a credit in Agric/Biology and at least a pass in Chemistry is needed.
- For Business Education, credits in English, Economics or Commerce, and Bookkeeping or Financial Accounting are required.

- Local Government Area of Origin/Letter of Identification
