BUK Cut-Off Marks For 2023/2024 Admission (Departmental)
Bayero University Kano, BUK cut-off mark (departmental) for the 2023/2024 Post-UTME/admission screening exercise have been released. Candidates who chose BUK in the 2023 UTME are required to meet the required cut-off mark for admission.
Note that BUK has a general cut-off mark for admission is 180. This means that no department will accept a score lower than the general cut-off mark for admission into Bayero University Kano. Each department however has its own cut-off point that can be found below.
Bayero University Kano, BUK Departmental Cut-Off Mark for 2023/2024 Admission
Candidates who chose the University as their first choice in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are hereby notified that the management has set the general cut-off mark to be a minimum of 180 marks.

BUK UTME Departmental Cut-Off Marks for 2023/2024
This is to inform all prospective students of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) that the University has pegged 240 and above cut-off points for programmes in the Faculties of Clinical Sciences and Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences at 230 and above, while Faculties of Allied Health Sciences and Law have their cut off points from 200 and above.
The cut-off points for programmes in other faculties are 180 and above. They are:- Agriculture, Arts and Islamic Studies, Basic Medical Sciences, Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Education and Engineering. Others are Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences.
UTME Candidates must have chosen Bayero University as First Choice and scored not less than the indicated minimum score for various Faculties/Programmes as stated below:
