Bowen University Reformatory Programme
Bowen University is proud to present its Reformatory programme, in conjunction with the Baptist College of Theology (BCT), Oyo, commenced on 13th June, 2016 at BCT, Oyo.
Rules During The Bowen University Reformatory Programme
1. Parents must come with the participants.
2. Participants must come with their Bible and devotionals.
3. Participants must bring writing materials and Big or Higher education notes – at least six.
4. Participants must come with their toiletries, buckets, cutleries.
5. Participants must present their comprehensive medical report of not more than one week old obtained from BCT, Oyo Clinic.
6. Participants shall not be allowed to use cell phone/laptop. Calls would only be allowed through the central arrangement which must be paid for by the participants.
7. Participants must dress corporately at all times except in the hostels. Off shoulder, transparent clothes, skirt above the knees, or slit above the knees, jeans, etc., dresses showing cleavages for female students, wearing of slippers in the School area are not allowed. Trousers for females and tops that do not cover stomach are not allowed. Female participants must cover their heads with scarfs or caps during prayers and worship.
8. There will be no travelling by participants during the reformative period.
9. There must be no cooking by participants.
10. Participants must put on their I.D. cards at all times during the period of the programme.
11. Participants of the opposite sex must not be seen together in obscure places.
12. Male participants must be in their hostels by 9:00 p.m. while female participants should be in theirs by 8:00 p.m.
13. Parents must give the participants enough money to sustain them throughout the period of the reformatory programme.
14. Participants will not be allowed to obtain exeat on any ground.
15. Fees for the Bowen University Reformatory programme stated above, must be paid in Bank Draft to Baptist College of Theology, Oyo – FBN 2001519824.
16. Parents should submit their telephone numbers with the coordinator of the programme.
17. Immoral behaviour e.g. stealing, quarrelling, fighting, back-biting etc, are prohibited for the participants.
18. Participants would not be allowed to be visited by anyone except their parents/guardians.
19. Any need by participants should be directed to the Student Worker, who will inform the coordinator.
20. Participants are expected to take their bath as early as 7:30 a.m. Classes commence by 8:00 am and attendance is very important. Any participant caught loitering around would be sanctioned.
Fees And Duration For The Bowen University Reformatory Programme
The Bowen University reformatory programme shall attract a fee of N50, 000 for a duration of 4 weeks and N90,000 for more than 4 weeks. It must be paid in Bank Draft to Baptist College of Theology, Oyo – FBN 2001519824.
