ASUU Threatens To Cancel All Conducted Post-UTME Screening
As ASUU continue the strike embarked upon on 1st July, 2013 and many universities conducting the 2013/2014 Post-UTME screening, ASUU Zonal Coordinator, Adesola Nassir said the results of the already conducted Post-UTME Screening tests may be jettisoned.
Here is what he said as reported by DailyPost and we quote:
Newsmen at a conference called by the Ibadan Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the Lagos State University, Ojo, the Zonal Coordinator, Adesola Nassir, alleged that some schools hastily conducted the examination in order to make money from the candidates.
” How can you hold such an important examination without the input of academic staff,” the coordinator asked.
“Vice-chancellors are employing non-academic staff and consultant to do Post-UME. They are doing it because of money. The exam already constitutes a crisis-point in the universities and results from the examination may be jettisoned, he said ”
