ASUU (FUNAAB) Commences Strike Today, Other Schools May Join
One of our Admins was inside the Federal University of Agriculture, FUNAAB today, 1st July, 2013 when the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU FUNAAB Chapter dropped tools and started an indefinite strike. The cause of the strike is still unknown and it was not clearly ascertained if the strike is a National one or just a local (FUNAAB) strike.
When our admin asked one of those present if it was a national ASUU strike. He simply replied, “Don’t you listen to news? It was talked about on NTA last night!”. He later found out the man he talked to was the Dean of a college. Nobody could confirm if it was a local ASUU Strike or National ASUU Strike. We shall keep you posted as events unfold on this July 2013 ASUU Strike.
