Sigmanox NG Limited, through its education-focused subsidiary ngscholars.net, is thrilled to launch a groundbreaking initiative: TechBridge for Rural Schools. This project is designed to equip schools in rural communities across Africa with computers (desktops and laptops) preloaded with invaluable offline educational resources—bridging the digital divide and ensuring that every student, regardless of location, has access to quality learning materials.

Why This Matters

In many parts of Nigeria and Africa, access to the internet is limited or prohibitively expensive, leaving millions of students without the digital resources that are now essential to education. Many of these students miss out on critical information, research tools, and learning materials readily available to their urban counterparts. TechBridge for Rural Schools seeks to close this gap by providing schools with computers loaded with an offline version of Wikipedia and other essential educational content—giving students and teachers access to a wealth of knowledge without the need for an internet connection.

How It Works

• Computer Donations & Distribution: We will purchase and distribute desktops and laptops to rural schools across Africa, starting with the most underserved communities.
• Offline Learning Resources: Each device will come preloaded with Wikipedia’s offline database, along with other educational materials in science, mathematics, history, and technology.
• Scalable Growth: Our initial phase will be funded through personal donations from friends and family, but as we expand, we will open up donation opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations who share our vision of transforming education.
