Artificial Intelligence

• Minimum of Lower Credit in ND Computer Science from an NBTE-accredited institution.
• Must meet ND admission requirements and have completed a one-year post-ND industrial work experience.
• Candidates with a Pass in ND must present evidence of two years of post-ND work experience.

School of Engineering

1. Computer Engineering Technology
2. Civil Engineering Technology

• Minimum of Lower Credit in ND from NBTE-accredited Computer or Civil Engineering programs.
• Completion of one year of industrial work experience required.
• Candidates with a Pass in ND must show evidence of two years of post-ND work experience.

School of Environmental Studies

Survey and Geo-Informatics

• Minimum of Lower Credit in ND in Geo-Informatics, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, or Cartography and GIS from an NBTE-accredited institution.
• Must meet ND admission requirements and have one year of industrial work experience.
• Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide evidence of two years of post-ND industrial work experience.

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic HND Admission Application Process

Follow the steps below to apply for the HND programs:

1. Visit the Polytechnic Website: Access the application portal via the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic website.
2. Generate Invoice: Provide your name and phone number to generate an invoice with an RRR number.
3. Payment:
   • Visit any commercial bank with your invoice.
   • Pay ₦8,000 (including bank charges) to purchase the application PIN.
4. Complete Application Form:
   • Go to the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic HND Admission application portal and select Admissions > Application Forms.
   • Use the PIN obtained from the bank to access the form.
5. Upload Required Documents:
   • One-year industrial attachment letter.
