AKSU Important Information To All Fresh Students (Faculty Of Education), 2015/2016
The Dean of the Faculty of Education has issued a release to all newly admitted students into the faculty regarding the requirements for admission. The requirements listed below are to be met by students that have been admitted into the Faculty of Education for the 2015/2016 academic session during the pre-screening exercise.
PRE-SCREENING INFORMATION
Fresh students that have been admitted into ‪Akwa Ibom State University to note the following academic requirements, as it relates to the faculty of Education:
1. Education Biology – B.Sc(Ed):
You are qualified to study Education Biology if and when you possess 5 credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and ANY other subject, at not more than two (2) sittings.
2. Education Chemistry – B.Sc(Ed):
You are qualified to study Education Chemistry if and when you possess 5 credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
3. Education Integrated Science – B.Sc(Ed):
You are qualified to study Education Integrated Science if and when you possess 5 credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and ANY other subject, at not more than two (2) sittings.
4. Education Mathematics – B.Sc(Ed):
You are qualified to study Education Mathematics if and when you possess 5 credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
5. Education Physics – B.Sc(Ed):
You are qualified to study Education Physics if and when you possess 5 credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and ANY other subject at not more than two (2) sittings.
The above information is to assist newly admitted students in taking better and more informed decisions.
