Akanu Ibiam Poly Suspends ASUP Strike, Resumed 2nd June
Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic has pulled out of the ongoing ASUP Strike. The strike has been suspended for the students of Uwana Poly to resume academic activities on 9th June, 2014. A statement released on the official website of the polytechnic has it that lectures will resume fully on Monday, 9th of June, 2014.
The full statement reads:
This is to inform all students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana and the public that Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana will re-open on Monday, 2nd of June, 2014 for the First Semester of 2013/2014 academic session.
Registration of new students starts immediately on Monday, 2nd of June, 2014 and lectures will begin on Monday, 9th of June, 2014.
