Akanu Ibiam Poly Supplementary Post-UTME Closes Today

Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic supplementary Post-UTME screening for 2015/2016 admission closes today. All UTME and Direct Entry applicants who are still seeking admission into Poly Unwana should take note. As application closes today, November 30, 2015, we also use this to serve as a reminder of the screening dates.

Note that if you are still looking for admission and did not choose Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic, you can apply for admission. As long as you meet other eligibility criteria set for the Akanu Ibiam Poly Supplementary Post-UTME screening. The requirements are discussed below.

Who Is Qualified For Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic Supplementary Post-UTME

Candidates who wrote the 2015 UTME and scored 150 and above are invited to Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Supplementary Post UTME screening exercise at the Institution for some programmes/courses.

Programmes / Courses Eigible For Unwana Poly Post-UTME

For the supplementary screening, the following courses are eligible;

Business-based Course:

Accountancy, BAM, Marketing, Public Admin, Office Tech and MGT.

Science-based Courses:

Electrical/Electronic Engr., Civil Engr., Mechanical Engr., Building Tech, Quantity Surveying, Ceramics, Computer Science, Maths/Statistics, Science Lab. Tech. Food Tech., Hospitality Mgt. & Tourism, Architecture, Land Survey & Geoinformatics, Estate Mgt. and Evaluation, Agric. Technology, ND Horticulture and Landscaping Technology.

How To Apply For The Supplementary Screening

For UTME Candidates;

Applicants are required to buy the Institution’s Post-UTME on-line Application Form through E-transact pin from any of the designated banks’ branches listed below at the cost of N5000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) excluding bank and other charges.

Now, go to the official website at www.polyunwana.net to complete the online application form. Don’t forget to submit the form, and print out an acknowledgement slip. Please, preview your information before submitting your application online.

For Direct Entry Candidates;

All Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana are required to complete the on-line Application Forms.

Direct Entry Forms are for HND Regular and Part-Time, HND Architecture, Pre-ND Science and Business, ND Part-Time; and ND Computer Engineering Technology, ND Mechatronics Engineering Technology, ND Metallurgical Engineering Technology, ND Urban and Regional Planning, and ND Library & Information Science (not listed in the brochure).

The candidates are required to purchase the pin at the cost of N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only from the stated designated banks and proceed to complete all registration processes and print out Acknowledgement Slips for presentation at the screening venue. HND candidates MUST submit photocopy of ND Result and 12 months cognate IT experience, in addition.

The Akanu Ibiam Federal Poly supplementary Post-UTME screening starts from December 3, 2015.

VENUE: ICT Complex, Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana.

Things To Not Take Along For The Screening

Calculators, handsets and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the screening halls.

Please be informed that candidates who fail to register within the given period will not be allowed to take the examination. Candidates are requested to present their UTME print-out/slips at the point of registration. The screening will be by Computer Based Test (CBT).
