Abia State University, ABSU resumption date information and course registration deadline update for 2018/2019 academic session have been announced.
Abia State University (ABSU) has released an urgent information to students and parents on resumption of academic activities for the continuation of first semester, 2018/2019 academic session. Also released is the deadline for course registration.
ABSU Resumption Update & Course Registration Deadline for 2018/2019 Academic Session
The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne, on behalf of Abia State University Senate, has approved the resumption of full academic activities on 7th January, 2019, after the Christmas break, for the continuation of the 1st Semester, 2018/2019 session.
Accordingly, all first year students are required to accept their admission offers and complete their registration formalities before their admissions lapse, while the returning students of the University are required to continue their registration of Courses and other formalities. This process should end on or before Monday, 21st January, 2019.
Parents, Guardians and Sponsors of Students of the University are therefore advised to ensure that their children and wards register before the shut-down of the University Portal.
