ABSU Registration Deadline For New & Returning Students-2017/2018

Abia State University, ABSU registration deadline notice to all new and returning students for the 2017/2018 academic session has been announce. All students of the university are hereby informed of  the notification.

All New and Returning students have been notified by the management to complete their registration before the deadline set by the management. See the date and other vital information as regards the registration deadline below.

ABSU Registration Deadline Notice – 2017/2018

Abia State University Senate at its 223^rdRegular meeting held on 31^stJanuary, 2018, decided to remind all undergraduate students, of the provision of the Revised Academic Regulation 2016, Chapter 3(1) which states that:

“Normal registration period shall not exceed four weeks from the date of commencement of lectures”.

Lectures for the first Semester 2017/2018 academic session started on Monday, 30^thOctober, 2017, and many students are yet to register.

Senate deliberated on the violation of the academic regulation by students and graciously approved that students, new and returning, be given additional two weeks from 31^st  January to 12^thFebruary, 2018, to register their courses for the first Semester, 2017/2018 academic session.

Failure to register their courses within this period, will  attract sanctions of payment of late registration fee and non-admission into the examination halls for the upcoming 2017/2018 first Semester examination.
