Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony 2024/2025

Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony (26th Undergraduate) has been announced under the leadership of President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ademola S. Tayo.

The university extends this invitation on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Council, and Senate to welcome its new students officially into the institution.

  • Venue: Babcock University Amphitheatre

This significant event marks the formal admission of all 100-level and Direct Entry students into the university.

Important Information for Students

Matriculation Gowns

  • Students must collect their matriculation gowns ahead of the event.
  • Gowns must be returned to the designated collection centers on the same day before leaving the campus.

New Year Break

  • Students attending the ceremony are permitted to proceed on their New Year break immediately after the event.

Accommodation Guidelines

  • Students who wish to stay in the halls of residence after the matriculation ceremony may do so until the next day (18 December 2024).
  • Students will be allowed to remain in the residence halls on Thursday, 19 December 2024.

Resumption Schedule

The university will communicate details regarding the resumption schedule for the next academic session at a later date.
