UNICROSS Matriculation Ceremony Schedule
The UNICROSS matriculation ceremony will be held across the university’s campuses on the following dates:
- Calabar Campus: Thursday, 12th December 2024
- Ogoja and Okuku Campuses: Friday, 13th December 2024
Students are advised to note their respective campus dates and prepare accordingly.
Mandatory Requirements for Matriculating Students
To participate in the ceremony, students must meet the following requirements:
1. Payment of Fees
- School Fees and Matriculation Fee: All first-year students must pay their school and enrollment fees in full before the ceremony.
- Non-compliance: Students who fail to pay in full will not be included in the matriculation register and will forfeit their admission for the 2024/2025 session.
2. Fee Payment Deadline
- The university will not accept school fees after the matriculation ceremony. Therefore, it is crucial to make payments on or before the ceremony date.
3. Registration and Documentation
- Students who have completed their fee payment must proceed to their respective departments and faculties to complete all required registration and documentation.
- Matriculation Gown Collection: Evidence of full payment is required to collect matriculation gowns from the faculty officers.
4. Return of Matriculation Gowns
- Matriculation gowns must be returned to faculty officers two days after the ceremony.
- Late Return Penalty: A late-return fee of ₦2,000 per day will apply for gowns returned one week after the ceremony date.
