Caleb University Holds 12th Convocation Ceremony
Caleb University is set to hold its 12th convocation ceremony on Thursday (today), January 19 till Saturday, January 21, 2023.
In a statement made available to The PUNCH newspaper, signed by the university’s Information, Media and Publication Specialist, Olawale Adekoya, this year’s convocation is scheduled to hold during the founder’s week and is themed, ‘Digital Disruptions, Financial Inclusion, StartUps and the Challenge of Youth Creativity’.
The convocation is scheduled to hold at the university’s main campus in Imota, Lagos State and will be graced by the Managing Director and CEO, AIICO Insurance Plc, Mr Babatunde Fajemirokun, who is the convocation lecturer.
According to the statement, the College of Pure and Applied Sciences and the College of Education will hold their convocation on the opening day, Thursday, January 19th, while the College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences will hold theirs on the second day, Friday, January 20th and the College of Environmental Studies, as well as the College of Post Graduate Studies, will hold theirs on Saturday, January 21st centre stage, which will also feature the Convocation/Founder’s Day Lecture and award of honorary degrees.
Caleb University was founded in 2008 and is the first private undergraduate degree-awarding university in Lagos State.
